Checking Your M-PESA Balance

It’s easy to know how much you have in your account at any time. You can check your balance through the M-PESA App, USSD, or SIM Toolkit.

Via M-PESA App

Log in to M-PESA using your PIN or your chosen biometrics (e.g., fingerprint or face unlock).
Your balance will be displayed on the home tab.
If you have ‘Hide Balance’ enabled, tap it and enter your M-PESA PIN to view your balance.

Via USSD

Dial *334#.
Select ‘My Account’, then choose ‘Check Balance’, and press ‘OK’.
You will receive an SMS with your M-PESA account balance.

Via SIM Toolkit (Safaricom Menu)

Open the SIM Toolkit menu.
Select ‘M-PESA’, then ‘My Account’, and choose ‘Check Balance’.
Enter your M-PESA PIN to complete the request.
You will receive an SMS with your M-PESA account balance.
