Pay to Pochi la Biashara

Pay your favorite food vendor, kiosk, boda-boda rider, or mitumba seller with ease. Pochi La Biashara lets you send money directly to their M-PESA, while helping them keep business funds separate from personal ones. Standard customer M-PESA charges will apply.

You can pay into Pochi La Biashara through:

1. M-PESA App

Launch the M-PESA app and select Pay
Tap Pochi La Biashara
Enter the merchant’s phone number
Enter the Amount
Confirm and complete with your M-PESA PIN

2. USSD

Dial *334# on your Safaricom line
Select Send Money then click Send to Pochi La Biashara
OR select Lipa na M-PESA the click Pay to Pochi La Biashara
Enter the merchant’s phone number
Enter the Amount
Confirm and complete the transaction with your M-PESA PIN

3. M-PESA SIM Toolkit (STK)

Go to the M-PESA menu on your phone
Select Lipa na M-PESA
Tap Pochi La Biashara
Enter the merchant’s phone number
Enter the Amount
Confirm and complete with your M-PESA PIN

Important to note: If you don’t see Pochi La Biashara in your M-PESA menu:

Refresh the menu: Go to M-PESA, select My Account, click Update Customer Menu, then enter your PIN.
Replace your SIM card (if you have the big/old SIM) by visiting a Safaricom Shop or Care Desk near you.
