Security questions help confirm your identity if you ever forget your PIN. Setting them up takes just a few minutes.

To set your security questions:

Dial *334#
Select My Account
Select M-PESA PIN Manager
Choose Set Security Questions
Enter your ID/Passport number
Pick any three questions from the list and provide your answers
Enter your M-PESA PIN to confirm
You’ll receive an SMS confirmation once it’s set up.
