Always check your M-PESA balance on SMS to confirm any transaction.
Create a PIN that’s easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.
Never share your PIN with anyone.
If someone claims they sent you money by mistake, confirm your balance first before taking any action.
Double-check the phone number before sending money.
Change your PIN anytime via the M-PESA menu for added security.
Set security questions and answers on your M-PESA account by dialing *334#.
Do not share your ID number with anyone.
