Important to Note
- Your M-PESA account can hold up to KShs. 500,000.
- You can transact up to KShs. 500,000 in a day.
- The maximum you can send or withdraw in a single transaction is KShs. 250,000.
- The minimum withdrawal at an M-PESA agent is KShs. 50.
- To reverse money sent to the wrong number, forward the confirmation SMS to 456.
- You cannot deposit money directly into another person’s M-PESA account at an agent outlet.
- For deposits and withdrawals, the accepted documents are Kenyan Passports, National IDs, Foreign Passports, Military IDs, and Foreigner Certificates.
