Soila started working from home just a few months before the pandemic struck. Naomi and Frecia were both expectant with their second born children. It was an exciting time for both of them but it was also a little bit scary because the pandemic came with a lot of fear, challenges and changes.
After being thrown into suddenly working from home with the added stress of a global pandemic, one thing these mothers didn’t anticipate is that a year later, they would still be at home nursing their babies.
Although we live in modern times, women still shoulder the bulk of the responsibility when it comes to housework, taking care of the family and generally running the home. Throw in a full time job to that list and that daily juggling act can feel like constantly being thrown into a pressure cooker.
