That early morning, we packed our bags and embarked on a journey that would see us breasting the regular swells of land through 5 towns, Machakos, Narok, Kisii, Mombasa and Karatina.
Our only agenda was to entertain and ensure that everyone who Grooved with Safaricom would experience the time of their lives as they interacted with their favourite gospel artistes.
Our first stop was the Machakos People’s Park on Sunday 1st of May followed by Maasai Mara University in Narok County on 8th of May. The audience from both towns brought about so much diversity in how they expressed themselves through dance; each had their own unique energy leaving us with such profound memories.
At the Tour, we ensure that there is something for everyone and those that come with their children enjoy the kiddie activities with their young ones at the Safaricom Village. If you happen to have had any query or needed any assistance the customer support team at the Safaricom Village was ready to assist.
One thing that struck our minds leaving us in owe, was the ability of the audience from both venues to move their limbs in ways implicating that they had been possessed by the dancing bug. Their personalized and choreographed moves came in as a 6th sense when the beat dropped; the audience and Groove artists fed off each other’s energy lighting up both venues.
When having fun, time flies by so fast and that’s exactly how we felt when we wrapped up the events. At the end of the two Tours the question remained; which town will hold the “Best Dancer Title?”
Our next stop will be Kisii, hope to see you at Gusii Stadium on 15th May. Bring your dancing shoes and be ready to #GrooveWithSafaricom
