Mohit Mediratta who is 31 years old and whose home course is Sigona Golf Club dreams of flying Kenya’s flag high at the LA 2028 Olympics.
“Having the Kenyan flag on us is always a sense of pride. It means everything having been born and brought up here. I think the early preparation with the PGK Equator Tour is incredible. Now as Kenyans, we have an opportunity to qualify for the Olympics and play against the best golfers in the world,” explained Mohit.
Mohit, who counts the legendary Tiger Woods as his golfing role model was inspired to walk the greens by his grandfather.
Mohit is part of Safaricom’s team in the PGK Equator Tour together with Mutahi Kibugu (Nyeri Golf Club), Mathew Wahome (Nyali Golf and Country Club) and Samuel Njoroge (Railways Golf Club).
